Network Time Synchronization A typical network time synchronization scenario is depicted in the diagram.
Each workstation synchronizes to a central time server on the corporate LAN. This guarantees the same time on all PC's. The corporate time server in turn synchronizes to one or more local GPS Master Clocks and also for backup purposes, atomic clocks on the internet using the Network Time Protocol. This guarantees the right time on all workstations and network infrastructure, all the time!
